New phone desperately needed

My old Imate Sp3i has all but kicked the bucket and I need a new phone that is at least a slight improvement over it, with a fairly affordable pricetag ($250-$400).

Basically, apart from the obvious, the main features I would like are:

1.0+mp phone with flash
external memory card slot
Clamshell/Flip down design (or a slide design that is proven to be sturdy, my friends slide phone has already broken)

Any other optional features I can take or leave.

Sharp 903 - Vodafone carry them, althougha bit old, camera quality is good as SE K800i's and also has flash.
