New Nokia E72 owner looking for tips and tricks!

Just got a used Nokia E72 running on AT&T full 3g on the $10 media net family plans! It runs great and the internet spees where i'm at are fast( 3mbs DL 300 kbps up).. Going to mostly use this to stream my slingbox with slingbox mobile for football season! Anybody have any experience with Slingobx mobile on the E72?? Any problems at all with it? Also would like to get some great apps for this phone recommendations would be great! I know there's the official E72 thread but I really dont want to read over 180 pages of post! Thanks guys..
 
Wow, that was useful.

Anyway, to the OP - I don't have specific experience with Slingbox mobile, but given that it runs on older models like the N95, I suspect you won't have any trouble at 3G or WiFi speeds with an E72 -- which runs faster that the older phones.

Here are some of my favorite apps although I really don't use that many apps:

Joikuspot light (or premium if you want to pay for encryption)
Opera Mini for browsing
Free iSMS if you love threaded texting
Google Maps
Fring (you can do video calls just like facetime)
Gravity (best twitter client with facebook integration as well)
 
Just realised you were looking for app recommendations... I like Socially -- a FB, 4SQ, Twitter and LinkedIn client. Between that, Ovi Maps, Google Maps, JoikuSpot, , and Sports tracker (Endomondo, and now the generic variety) that pretty much is 80% of what I use on the phone.
 
Hey guys thanks for the reply.. I've been geting use to the e72 and its a great phone just because I can only have to pay $10 a month for unlimited data! If i were to pay full price for it I would definitely get a different phone. I've been downloading a bunch of apps and watching Slingbox on it! Slingbox mobile works great on it.. Picture quality is fairly good for watching football on a phone! Highly recommended if you like to watch TV at work or anywhere. Been using Skyfire and Opera browsers and highly prefer Opera more.. I've been getting the memory error however when trying to open up some pages.. Not a big worry though because I know this phone was really not meant to be a PC replacement.. Joiku is really cool but wow does it drain the battery fast! How are you guys teathering with this phone using USB? I still have my V3xx and use that to tether through my laptop since I have it already setup.
