New Moon

Hi im just wondering if any one no's when new moon is due to be releast on dvd, it doesent say anywhere that i can see, went to the cinema to see it but could hardly hear it :cry: too many girls ooohhh ing and ahhh ing when jake got topless, :D cant blame them.
 
I've asked exactly the same question twice in the OMG Can't wait for new moon thread. I've just bumped it, hoping for a reply. according to the newmoon website it's due 21st march though apparently this hasn't been officially confirmed. :) http://www.newmoonmovie.org/ scroll down to see the artwork for the dvd and bluray.
 
I originally heard March 22nd, but since then a lot of people have said March 21st. Personally, I think it's March 22nd, which is a Monday, and DVRAB are normally released on a Monday in the UK.

But the DVD cover is amazing :D
 
Ahh right, well if the 22nd is a Monday, then its most likely to be released then. :) I was hoping for an early february release because I didn't see it at the cinema. :(
 
Thanks for that i can hardly wait :D iv not been this mad on a movie/ books befor my mates think im toatally mad maybe there right but i just luuvv vampires and wolves :) and there both in the same film :D., Ivheard that the breaking dawn is going to be split in to parts on dvd has any one else heard that :confused:
 
I hope it isn't split. But then isn't Breaking Dawn a really big book..is it the last in the series (Im currently reading Eclipse). Maybe if its the last book it ties up all the loose enRAB and they wouldn't be able to get it all in one film..much like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. :) Also, great money maker for the studio;) Probably the main reason behind it.
 
Yeh the book is really long i dont think they would fit it all in one movie i hope they do split it only because i hope they dont cut out to much the final book i think is the best i loved them all but the last was great :D but it is a shame that its the last one i think stepheinie meyer could have made a few more once you,ve read the final book you will see what i mean. And there more than likely thinking more money with spliting it. :)
 
Dont no wether your intrested but iv just found a web site that gives you info on movies and new moons on it its called imdb the internet movie database. its got every movie you can think of, and who stars init ect. its quite intresting,
 
I'll be getting the DVD for easter. As I've got older, I've been getting less eggs and more money/presents instead. But I'll be watching it before Easter Sunday, that's for sure :D Went to see it at the cinema three times, including opening weekend

I think Breaking Dawn is a longer book than the last Harry Potter. I hope they split it into two, because I'd be sad about seeing the movies at the cinema for the last time, and two movies would mean at least one extra visit to see it at the cinema
 
To be honest, I'm more of a fan of the books. I read the first book before seeing the film, and enjoyed the book so much more. I've watched the film a number of times to see if it would grow on me, it's not bad, but I don't think it's brilliant. Want to see New Moon to see whether it's better. :)
 
In my personal opinion (and also the opinion of a close friend), the New Moon movie is better than the Twilight movie. But I really like the movies because I enjoy being able to see it visually, and it takes longer and more effort to read a book.
