new moon book question......??

why did bella and jacob try to find the forest ( this is way after edward leaves bella) they didnt really touch much on bella and jacob trying to find the forest/woods in the new moon....but at least for they book, what where they looking for in the woods?

Yeah, what lexi said. Bella told Jacob about the meadow that her and Edward used to go to, and so Jacob tried to help her find it again.

Bella thought that if she could find the meadow again that she would see (or in the case of the book hear) "Edward" like she did when she was doing all the adrenaline pumping stuff like riding the motorcycle.
