Hello there,

I have once again started anew with getting help with my severe anxiety, paranoia, depression and panic disorder. I was just prescribed new medications today (two I have never heard of) and was hoping for some feedback or personal experiences?

Invega 6mg
Geodon 40mg
Pristiq 50mg
Xanax .5mg

I have been taking xanax for several years now and it works very well but I need something I can take more steadily (I've always been hesitant to take the xanax unless absolutely necessary as to not develop an addiction) to help with my constant worry, irritability, hypersensitivity, social phobia, anger issues, etc.

I was given Pristiq for my severe depression as other SNRI's (Effexor XR and Cyrabalta) have been the only type of drugs to help so far, that have really worked well (Mood stabilizers like Depakote did nothing, Zoloft made me a zorabie and Paxil made me freak out more). The problem was that they pettered out on me - after a little over a year of taking them, and having the dose increased, they just stopped working. Very depressing.

I'm confused as to why I was prescribed Invega and Geodon - I had never heard of these drugs and after looking them up, I see that they are prescribed for schizophrenia? I figure they may be used to treat other symptoms like trouble sleeping, anxiety, moodiness? Why else would I be given them (I don't have schizophrenia)? They are unsure if I'm Bipolar, thereapists/docs seem to have gone back and forth on it for years. I dont know if these two new drugs can help with depression, so far I haven't seen much on that online...

Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
