New master cylinder for Ford Ka?

I have a brake fluid leak. I took it to a garage about a month ago and they said they said they have put a temporary seal on the pipe that was leaking but if it leaks again I will need a new master cylinder. I am just curious as to roughly how much this is going to cost me including labour etc as sure enough it is now leaking again? Thanks in advance!
 
a temporary seal ? i guess they are talking about putting a compression fitting on the brake line. that would,nt have anything to do with the master cylinder. a master cylinder either works or it don,t. once they start leaking you can,t stop them unless you change it.
