New issue...

First to Jim and Moose Man, my previous issue with hotsyncing to Outlook only appears when Outlook is running. If I shut outlook down, it syncs just fine. So it's probably an outlook issue. I'll let you guys know if I figure it out.

Now onto my new issue.

My wife decided she liked my T3, so whe waned me to buy her one. Well, after looking around online and seeing that I could get a T5 for less than what she paid for my T3, I just bought the T5, and gave her the T3.

Everything on the T5 works OK, except for a minor problem with VersaMail.

I have multiple folders set to sync with my palm. On my T3, these folders appeared in the folder list and all of the messages ported over to the appropriate folder so I could read them. On the T5, the folders only appear if I choose Edit Folder List. If I want to see any of these messages, I have to go to all folders, which means that messages aren't categorized as they should be.

Additionally, when I am reading a message, I can't use the 5 Way scroll up/down function. I can go left and right between messages, but not up and down.

Is there any known way to fix these little annoyances, or do I need to take one for the team and trade the wife back for the T3?
 
Sorry, Bill, but I don't have a T5 and don't use VersaMail so I don't want you to to think you're being ignored. I just don't have an answer for you. Have you checked the T5 support area at PalmOne? They have issued many updates and one might apply to your issue.
 
I didn't figure I was being ignored, I just didn't want the post to get lost on the forum.

As for P1 support, of all the patches they have available, none of them are for versamail 2.7. This is a real bummer, since I don't think my wife will let me have the T3 back.

I'll keep looking. Thanks again for all of the great suggestions for the other problem.
 
You might go over to www.1src.com and check them out in their forums. There seems to be more T5 user's there then here....not that we want you to wonder far from here but.....

I've been really busy for the last two weeks and will continue to be so for the first quarter of the year...sorry that we didn't get you some other advise ala Jim's comments.

You've got my best suggestion albeit to look elsewhere for help. ;)
 
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. And I will always have this place in my favorites list. There's too much good stuff that I would miss if I quit.
