New HTC Desire Z 500 mb allowance?

i was just wondering if this is enough data allowance for me to leave my mobile network on, in order to update the weather and my e'mails, while using the browser for facebook and casual browsing etc, without going over my 500mb. I won't really be using it for youtube.
