Hi everyone,
Sorry you all are here, I know back pain stinks. A little about me, I was injured at work on March 10, 2008. I was setting a box down and felt what was like electricity go down both legs. After an MRI and disc o gram I found out I have 2 herniated discs at L4,L5 and L5,S1. My Orthopedic spine specialist wanted to do a fusion of the L5,S1 disc last August (08/08). After a year of fighting with work comp (court date last Deceraber with arbitraitor, and then they filed an appeal with the IL industrial commission 09/03/09), work comp lost both, they are finally going to quit fighting. At least that is what my attorney told me.
After waiting a year I think my L4,L5 disc is worse. The surgeon sent the paper work off to work comp for approval on the fusion, I am waiting to hear back from them. I forgot to let you all know I have been off work since the injury. Work comp stopped paying me last Deceraber, but when the IL industrial commission ruled in my favor they sent me a back pay check for all of it.
I pray and hope you all find some relief from the pain and discomfort.
