Hello, my name is Bill and I am 27 and love cartoons. I grew up in the 80's and of course enjoyed the goldn age of saturday morning cartoons, back when He-Man, Thundercats and TMNT rules the tv sets. I miss everything about the 80's, the feeling of being a kid, the cartoons, the toys and of course the great commercials!!! For a long time I stopped watching cartoons on Saturday because there was nothing good, last time I watched Saturday morning cartoons, X-Men, Spider-Man and The Tick were the big thing in the mornings, but yesterday I decided to give these newer cartoons a shot. I caught Di-Gata Defenders, pretty good show. I then watched Biker Mice, didn't enjoy it. Then Spiderman which was pretty good and the best of the bunch. Then I saw Chaotic: marillion adventures, which I enjoyed.
I guess it will never be the same as it was in the 80's and early 90's, but the current crop shows promise and I will catch the shows I mentioned next Saturday as well. I wonder why ABC, NBC and CBS stopped showing cartoons way back? Well no matter what I will always remember my Saturday morning cartoon experiences when I was a kid and will try hard to recreate it, we just need some great commercials and we are ready to roll!
Ps: I am a big collector of classoc cartoons on DVD, anyone else?
