New Ford Fiesta Keyless Entry?

I am picking up my fiesta on Tuesday and it comes with keyless entry, I was just wondering if anyone knew what the furthest distance anyway the key can be for the car to be opened? Or if anyone has this fitted, is it a good security device?

My keyless entry works up to 60 feet away from the car but i
think my batteries are going flat in the key fob.
 
do you mean a fob remote ? i have one for my 01 zetec s, yh pretty good and safe as it double dead locks your car and arms alarm and immobilizer. you can use up to 10 meters away. it tells you in the fiesta handbook you get with the car.
