It's a 2007 new Ford 460 engine, in my motor home, with less than 2500 miles on it. I left it sitting, not started for about a year. Now when I try starting it, I pump it a lot of times, it will start up, but will not continue running by itself. It just runs long enough to burn the gas that I pumped. When it is running, it sounds good, no spitting or sputtering. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do? I hope that it is not the fuel pump.

It is not fuel injected. I did have to charge the batteries, they were all down.
