New film coming out or remake something to do with a boat!

I am posting on behalf of my dad what he said to me this morning. He said there is a new film or remake coming out of a film something to do with a sinking boat.

If you got any idea or some details then please post.
 
is it poseidon - the remake of the poseidon adventure - about a cruise ship that capsizes in a tsumami on new year's eve, and a merry band of survivor's are smart enout to realise they need to get to the bottom of the boat, not the top?

but will they make it?

will shelley winters survive that underwater swim this time?

will the priest save the say?

i guess a remake of the towering inferno must be next in line...

It's not Nautica is it, although that won't be out this year if it's ever made. All I know about it is it's set on a boat with three main characters (detailed eh? ;) ) Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal were rumoured to be the leaRAB, but that hasn't been confirmed.
 
I think it is, I have just seen the trailer and it looks like a film that my dad would be on about. Thank you everyone, any uk dates though
 
there is no way i would watch this, the poseidon adventure and towering inferno where quality disaster movies back when the story and acting went hand in hand with the action sequences.

This looks like a bunch of crap, day after tommorow mark 2!
