new facebook chat update wtf?

ok my faceebook chat updated itslef yesterd ay and theres no place to put in chat messages or talk wtf ? i tryed to type in anything and nothing came up does anyone know whats going on here or hoow to chat when theres no box to put tin the mssages its just white were theyres supposed to be a talking box wtf?????????????/
 
um its on the bottom of the page it is longer that it used to and if u click on a person to chat with you click on the bottom and it lings out like that
