New evidence suggests Jesus Christ was born on June 17

According to the Gospels, Jesus was born during the reign of King Herod (Matt. 2:1-18; Luke 1:5). Herod died in 4 B.C. Therefore Jesus would have had to have been born in 4 or 5 B.C., not 2 B.C.
 
Biblical mythology? A person has to take more things on faith and ignore more evidince to the contrary to believe in evolution mythology than any thing in the Bible. But hey, one day we will all find out for sure :)
 
Only the massively ignorant think that Jesus was born on December 25th. It's been apparent since the rise of criticism that he was born in spring, and anyone who wanted to has known for 2000 years that December 25th was just taken over from the Roman's Saturnalia. Absolutely nothing new there.

It's the same basic thing with the year of his birth. Internal clues, including the birth during the reign of Herod, make it impossible for Jesus to have been born in the year 0.

It's mythology, people. not history.
