Didn't take too long to find out how dysfunctional this place is, did it? Now was that a statement or a question? Anyway congrats and enjoy.

Welcome home. You'll find that the duc isn't as refined and perfect as a Jap bike but that's what differentiates it from them. It'll take a while but you'll figure out it's all about the chassis and those two big paint cans going up and down.
 
A wise man on this forum said to me "Either use the forum to learn about Ducs and enjoy interaction with other members or get involved in shit slinging contests" It was good advice...although I have stepped near the line a few times, I think I've done fairly well...
 
Well I have to think Ducati has come a long way since the 748 916 days , of course nothign at all against any Duc, but they seem to have gotten better - thats why we had them throw in the 4 more years of warranty or I was walking. I am sure I will learn this bike like I did my jap bikes - just something all new again.

I wish this rain would stop so I could go play with my Duc!! My CF bits should be here in a few days! nothing major yet but it will be.
