If you're putting the engine in a car with a big compartment, you shouldn't need to worry... but there is a lot to consider. It costs a lot to pay someone to do that, and other key parts of the car will also have to be modified or changed to accomodate it. You have to be able to handle the increase in power to the rest of the drivetrain, and you have to have everything in place to keep that big engine cool.
Unless your car really does need a new engine (and the chasis is worth keeping), you should look into easier, cheaper ways to improve your car's performance.
