they just finished recording the new album as the three of them.(which they have done with every previous album as well)

back in the day and right after they told vern to take a hike they played as a 3 piece with chad on bass. however, their newer stuff definately neeRAB two guitars live.they are expected to announce a new bass player when they announce their tourdates for this new album.
