i ended up picking the kitten of the litter with the most energy. this is the most hyper cat i have ever seen. if he gets any more energy i think he will explode. but he also has a lot of personality which i really like. wherever i have lived i have always treated pets like they are family. i like animals, i am an animal person. however, i am having a hard time disciplining him. he is just over 4 months old now. no matter how many times i spray him with the spray bottle or spank his butt he will not stop climbing the curtains or jumping onto the dresser where he wants to knock the lamp down. and he gets in these moods where he is SO hyper that he just runs around jumping on everything. he will run and jump off a chair in my room and make the leap like 6ft to the curtains and hang on them and climb all the way to the top and then balance on the curtain rod. yesterday he was doing it so much that i had to put him in his kennel so that i could atleast stay in bed even if his crying was still keeping me up at night. im not sure if he understands what being put in the kennel means or not so i dont know if i should continue it. i have absolutely no plans of getting rid of him because we are already attached to each other. i just want to get some sleep at night, lol.
