New Car : Should I get one now or wait?

OK.. so I currently have a 2000 Nissan Maxima that I love. It really hasnt given my any problems and Ive added some upgrades to it. The problem is that I owe about 8k left on it and it has 145k miles on it (just graduated from college) but I plan to pay it off in about a year.

I have had my eye on the 04 G35 coupe. I know theyre great cars, and I want to downsize a little bit. But should I pay-off my Max or wait the year to go without a car payment for a while then get the G35..?
 
What you need to do is to wait a while until you know for sure that you have paid off all the money you owe. Then when you realize that you have money and that you still want the car then go and buy yourself your dream car. And maybe if you wait you might get something better out of it!!!
 
Do whatever is best for you ecomonically, if it would save you money paying of this Nissan then do that.

If it is going to cost you lots to pay of the Nissan now, then wait for the year.
