New BOLD lovin it but have questions

Hey Stackers !

How are you.

I have the $15 e-mail & IM pack

I got my new bold yesterday and i loaded Opera mini 4.2 and I can't get on the net.... Ive done a battery pull and all of that.....any ideas?

Also can OTA links work over the wifi connection? if not where can I get free themes to load with DTM

the 15$ email and IM Pack is exactly what it is.
Email and IM aka NO BROWSING.

OTA links SHOULD work on wifi, as long as your host routing tables contains 2 wifi entries (Options - Advanced Options - Host Routing Tables).
If it doesnt, click menu, register now.
If they still dont show up try putting a SIM card that has a non restricted BB data plan in your phone and get the person to resend their service books while the sim is in your phone.

Then just fire up your "Hotspot Browser" and surf away !

As for the opera it worked with my 8110 i did all the steps in the sticky post but when i got 4.2 it now wont work ........guess i'll go bact to 4.1 and surf as well.

Ive never tried that sticky of mine on 4.6+ devices as when they were released, data plans are as low as 25$ for 500mb.
I would suggest you spend the extra 10$ a month and have a FULLY featured BB (BBmaps, BBBrowser etc...).
If not by all means feel free to use my tutorial again its what its for !
 
I think Pinstack has the best free themes, and a ton of them.. Click on Forum at the top left of the page and then scroll to free blackberry themes and then choose your device. Then have fun choosing a great theme.
