new blackberry transferring photos from old phone using blue tooth?

i got a new black berry and when i try to transfer photos from my old phone it says waiting for conn... and that's it but i connected it like 5 times now does that mean its down loading or what? help me through the steps please to transfer photos using blue tooth? please thanks
