New Blackberry (Or Other PIM Phone) Decision

I have the BB 7100t, and my contract just expired. I generally like suretype, but there are certain words that generally misspell. Also, callers on the other end of phone calls always complain my voice is muffled and unintelligible. I tried a 7130e at a Verizon store, and my voice came off crystal clear. I don't surf the web that much, and use the phone primarily for phone calls and emails and other PIM information like contacts, etc. My work has Exchange Server 2000, so I can't sync my contacts/tasks/calendar wirelessly, but I guess I could do that with a hosted exchange server for a few bucks a month?

The questions I have are as follows:

1) Should I abandon T-Mobile and get the Verizon 7130e? I know data plans are more expensive, but if the phone works better, and I would get faster speeds over EVDO when I do surf the net, the extra money doesn't bother me too much?

2) In form factor, should I choose the 8700 over the 7130e? I would be getting Edge speed and a full keyboard. Is this phone better than the 7130e for my purposes?

3) Is it worth waiting a few months for the Motorola Q or Nokia E61, which are the only other two phones on the horizon about which I have read that sound enticing?

4) Are there other phones out there or coming in the near future that will fit my purpose that you think are better than the ones I have mentioned?

5) Finally, on the hosted exchange server question, which ones work best and give you the most bang for your buck? Would I then be able to sync all of my PIM wirelessly?

Thanks for any suggestions.
