I was recently tested for allergies thru a blood test and I am allergic to dust, dogs, cats, milk, ragweed and fish/shellfish. I've never had any physical symptoms such as a rash or shortness of breathe from any of these (only digestive issues from milk), and was surprised I was allergic to any of these (except milk I knew). So I'm wondering how much I really need to stay away from some of these if I didn't even know until now that I was allergic to them. I love animals and I love fish and shellfish.

Frankly, the blood test is better for food allergies and the skin scratch is best for environmental ones (animals, plants, dust, etc). You obvously are having issues so why not try a zyrtec daily for a while and see what happens. Remeraber, some food allergies are not actual allergies but rather sensitivities and can't be controlled by antihistamines.
