This thread is dedicated to the internet cartoon series, Neurotically Yours. I understand that not too many people have seen this series so I have set up a link so those that are curious can check it out (Mature Content). Have fun :)
 
I was gonna make a topic on this, but however you beat me to the punch. Not that big into flash animation, but however Neurotically Yours is one of the best internet cartoons I've watched. Foamy's rants seem to cover every topic that everyone has annoyed with and he speaks the truth at times. I'm surprised he hasn't ranted on Twilight.
 
I also think it's interesing how many different Germaines we had before the final design was settled on. But yes when Foamy does his topical rants, he does make a lot of statements that many can agree on. The prime example of this, to me anyway, is Topical Rant #29: Compilation Shows.
 
I've only enjoyed the really early episodes of Neurotically Yours since some of the episodes - to be quite honest - are really some of the funniest things I've ever seen on the Internet. I cannot begin to tell you the times I've found myself laughing so hard at them, since they're too true.

The new episodes...meh to downright terrible. I was never a big fan of Germaine, but it's a shame she became this hypocritical angsty feminist instead of a typical art school girl. :sad:

(Oh, and I'd put up a Mature Content warning.)
 
Gator, I have nothing against character development - I like it too - but Germaine's "development" to me wasn't development as so much as it was a derailment. In early episodes, she hated women who are, for lack a better word, slutty. In recent episodes, it's heavily implied she does said types of acts.

It also bugs me how the creator says he hates how much the early episodes contain Germaine being a fanservice girl when she didn't do a remotely service-y thing. Nowadays, that's all she is.

It's no big deal to me, anyway, I only watch the early episodes. :sweat:
