Hi, everyone
I would just like to ask if anyone here has had a neurostimulator implant fitted for their bladder and spine problems and if they could perhaps share their experiences as I am seriously considering getting one now as all other treatments have failed on both my problems (spine and bladder).
Was having the actual neurostimulator implant just a day case surgery or did you have to stay in? Was it done under general anaesthetic or while you were awake? Where did they place it? Do you have a choice of where they place it?
I have heard that the trial one where they just put them under the skin is done while awake but am not sure about the actual one.
