The power went out last night during storm for about 2 hours.. I was on my laptop at the time, I was running on battery lappy is fine.. Lighting never seemed to hit close to the house. But when the power came back on my NetGear was not longer working. It connects wireless but I cannot access the internet, Ethernet will not work either. Would that not indicate that there is a problem with an outage? I have tried resetting the router , tried different jacks still no luck. Called our ISP AT&T they were no help of course because they do not support our router. Tech said there were no outages in they area. How would they know this without having a tech come out and check the lines? Any advice would be appreciated.
