for this shape, i understand that the left hand side would just be (-E)*(depth*height) and the only other nonzero flux contributions would be the sloped side. how would i solve for this?
would i solve for the angle of the cut, and use trig?
E1 = 100 V/m,
E2 = 250 V/m.
I got it.
(for anyone googling for answers)
for right hand side its E*cos(70)*area (then subtract the left hand part of the problem) for flux then that times epsilon_not. where the angle from horizontal would be 20deg.
