i keep getting this question about polarity wrong. i know that polarity is based on electronegative charge and shape of a molecule. i know that usually you can tell if a molecule has polarity if it is not symmetrical. the molecules are:
PF2Cl3, CH2Cl2, AlCl3, KrBr4, CF3Br, CH3Cl, CF4, SF6
shouldnt PF2Cl3, CH2Cl3, CF3Br, and CH3Cl be polar based on this? apparently not because that was my answer and it was wrong. is there some other way to know if these are polar?
