Last Monday I had a hole saw in my hand and I was pushing on the set srew with a screw driver,it slipped and the screwdriver went into the palm of my hand an inch and a half below the ring finger and came out the other side. After a while I noticed my ring finger was numb. Within a few days I pretty much gained full mobillity back and by Saturday I played 9 holes of golf. No pain, the only thing is that on the inside of the hand it is numb from the puncture to the tip of my ring finger. My question is,is it worth having it looked at by a hand surgeon? Someone told me they could do more damage by just going in trying to fix it.
