Neosporin for acne

Hey everyone!
So i was reading online anyway they have beauty tips and one of their tips was to use neosporin on your face for acne spot treatment. If you think about it, it makes sense: its an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory. I've been using it for 3 weeks and it really works--fast too!!

just thought I should share :)
 
Yeah I love it also. But I usually put in on after the zits come down, when there are scabs and the Neosporin would facilitate the healing and minimize pitting.
 
Acne is caused by bacteria, and neosporin is antibacterial, so it can't do anything but help. Although I'm not a biologist so I don't know if Bacitracin kills the particular strain of bacteria acne is caused by (Propionibacterium acnes)...
 
I use neosporen for everything. The Max. Strength works best for acne, the original ointment is a little greasy...but it works great for scars.
 
what kind of neosporin do you guys use. The ontiments seems to be for pain relief and the scar is a strip.
