We live in a quiet one way street. The street itself mainly consists of people who have lived here for generations and who inherited the houses. We rent this property as I do not want to buy yet. We are in our 30s and have busy Professional lives, leaving for work at 6am most days. We bought a new cart last week and we have been told by the people on the Street that as we are 'new' we cant park outside of our own house! also, as they sleep until 9.30 am, we cant start the car until then or put the car radio on even during the day. They complain about us not putting washing out on a sunny day also and other minor pickings. My partner is doing the 'carry on as normal' as they did not ask him and shouted at him making demands. I am a 32 year old Professional female nurse and these pensioners are harassing and bullying me to the point where it is like living under a microscope. How would you manage this? I am looking to move on soon but resent being treated this way.
