negotiating a price with a dealer end sept

courtt!

I am going to buy a RK ..maybe a 2010.....definitely after 07...maybe even an 02 if it is well kept and low miles

...lots of RKs on the dealer floors in Seattle and Bellingham....rentals they tell me on the phone....

.....the prices seem to be blue book numbers....

....any advice on negotiating for a better deal?

.....I have given myself a week and Washington and Oregon as my shopping area

thanks

That almost makes no sense.

2010 is way differnt than an '07 or even an '02. Big changes between all three years.

I would narrow down your search to between 2009 and up, or 2007-2008 and 2002-2006.

Definitely 07 or newer, probably a 09 or newer. Better deals on bikes with the extra bling and stages(1-2 etc) already added. I'd search craigslist in your desired areas and also a cycle trader book if you have them in your area. Also call around the local indy shops they may know someone with a nice bike for sale. And another place is the local banks and credit unions having repos. I have a local credit union that allows members to post for sale items financed thru them on a bulletin board inside. Start looking now. Get some prospects and start talking with them. Good luck hope you get a nice one

I agree with the private seller being the way to go. I would never buy a bike that was used as a rental. That is just me.

I am not sure how it is out there but around here there are tons of lightly used bikes that people are trying to unload for financial reasons.
