Negative Urine test at the doctors but postitive home test 4 days later...?

Hey, question guys. My husband and I have been trying and I went to the doctor 4 days ago and got a negative urine test then this morning I did a home first response test and got a Positive... the line was very dark and appeared immediatly. We are both very excited but I am worried it might be false.. maybe I just don't want to get my hopes up to high. I will retest in a few days or so but I am afraid of a negative. How common are negative positives and how common are they with First Respone. I have also been having heavy cramping, sharp like pains and am very moody. I was supposed to start my period on the 4th and it is now the 11th.

hpt's only detect hcg hormone which your body only produces if you're pregnant... you'll never get a false positive.
