need your experience with Lyrcia/Cymbalta

I have two herniated discs. I am 70 yrs. and the Dr. sees surgery as a last resort. I am currently on nuerontin and vicodin for pain. I am not an abuser of this drug. My discs are pressing on a nerve and I get pain in my calf, foot and tingling down my leg and foot. This is constant. I have had epidurals and caudal blocks with relief for maybe a day. My question is what is your experience with either Lyrica and Cyrabalta. I read the indications of both and frankly the thought of suicidal impulses scares me. But I would do almost anything to get pain relief. Please advise me as to your experiences. Thanks

I tried both of those meRAB and neither worked for me.
Ask your Dr if there is another one you could try.
