Need to quit the job to become full time mom. Any financial help?

I am mom of 17 month old daughter. Am also 9 wks pregnant. I've decided to quit the job in few months to look after my child and wait for a baby to come. I am going to be full time mom. Does the government offer any financial help for full time moms? My husband would be the only working person in our family. We have mortgage and are wondering if will afford it all.
I know we'll be getting child benefit but it seems to be not enough.
Any ideas about financial help for full time mothers?
