Need to move songs from iTunes to Windows Media Player?

I need to get songs from iTunes to Windows Media Player. I know I can burn a CD and just upload it that way, but I also know theres a way to do it by formatting the file I just don't know HOW to do it. If someone could fill me in it would be awesome! Thanks!
 
Current songs you buy in iTunes are not protected, so you just need to convert them to mp3's, and then you can use them with windows media player.

In settings in iTunes, set "import settings" to use an mp3 encoder. Then you can right click on a song and choose "Create mp3 version" This copy will be playable in windows media player.
