need to know what type of material I need to decorate for a wedding reception?

want to decorate a small canopy where we will be getting married in tulle or voile fabric or gossamer im not sure what kind is best. The canopy will not be large I may even just go with a arch. We will be using the space to get married and have the reception...so do you think there should be a visual seperartion of the when we get married to where they eat.....or do you think it is silly to have them sit at the tables? I also was thinking of decorating the walls with fabric....using those wall hooks that can easily be taken off without damage...the room seats around 150 so it is fairly spaciouse..... I need help with someone who has experienc in this. I do not have the measurements but i know it has 9 foot from fl to ceiling, and width wise it is large. I do not want to buy too much fabric but I do not want to buy too little either. If fabric is too much any other ideas on decorating walls...I was thinking of this seamless paper in white, tacked to the wall and then putting decore over it but not sure if that would look cheesy or not.....I was thinking of doing mirrored paper circles or other shapes like diamonds on the seemless paper to make it look nice as well....as you can see I am all over the place with ideas an could use help in what would look good and not...I found amazon to be helpful with buying in bulk for decorations, I found 24 inch long single vases 10 of them for 48.00 that I was thinking of making table centerpieces with flowers and greenery cascading down the vase it would allow the people at the table to see each other. but still be classy...thank you to anyone who can give their advice
