Need to know the name of this 90's movie!!?

There was a movie that I watched a long time ago!! It was about a teenage girl who doesn't appreciate anything! She ends up somehow time traveling and going back in time as her grandmother, I believe. I do remember she got in trouble in class and the teacher used the paddle on her!!! It was the early 90's when this movie was out!!! If I'm not mistaken, it was in a barn where she time traveled!!! I know this is sad that I don't remember anything else but that's all I have! lol
