I will graduate next May and will take the GACE in January. However, I'm trying to locate a job for next fall. I have been touring all the local k-12 schools (about 10-15 schools in 4-5 districts). I been looking for older media specialists looking to retire and meeting principals and dropping off resumes to get my name out there. I am well qualified with 2 years experience as a Media Specialist in a local private school and a GPA of 4.0. What else can I do to find a job in a school?
Oh yea, My undergrad degree was in Video/Graphics Production, so I have experience making promo videos, banners, handouts, etc. So That is good experience for me; however, I am not a certified teacher, so I can't apply for teaching jobs because I am not licensed for that.
