need to find out what year and model is my ford 302 engine!!?

i bought a mustang but they swaped a 302 ENGINE into it. and now i need to find out what YEAR and what MODEL is it from. please help.

check a casting number on the manifold , head or block..first year was 68 is C8 and 78 is D8..
