why could not that be done without knockers at the door, like here in the USA, we got the applications, filled them out, and mailed-stamp free.
we did not have to mark "nation" punct 5, maybe that is why. Don't you think this part should be stricken off all major documentation-it is anti-democratic.
is nothing wrong with "melting pot'
all immigrants (and USA is country of immigrantns, well except for native Indians of course) melt in but keep some of their herritage like language, tradition.
I was born in the USSR, got my first passport there at the age of 16, that #5 (and I am Jewish) cost me a lot in my life there.
Here in the USA, I am an American (I am "Russian" haha at my work just because I am from there -to my co-workers. so what? It is a homeland. Rodina.
Slava I was a nurse
not a doctor
And yes, I was descriminated all the way from school to work (hospital) having hate writings by my neighbours. That alone prompt me to get away the very first chance my family had. Here in the USA I work in the hospital and I am a Russian Jew (though to americans you can be both so I am Russian) and my American passport read American for nationality
