need title/author of short sci-fi story about a kid who couldn't see angels or

demons but everyone else did.? I've been racking my brain trying to remember the title/author of a short science fiction story I read a while back. It described a society where everyone saw demons and angels in everyday life - the rising sun was accompanied by a chorus of singing angels, for example, but there was one person, a kid I think, who didn't see anything like that. All he saw at sunrise was a bright glowing disk rising above the horizon.

Anybody know what this story was called and/or who wrote it?
