Need tips on basketball im too shy to shoot?

ok this is my problem

every time i go to the gym first sometimes i dont even want to play because i think im going to embarrass my self . and if i do play and i have a OPEN shot i never shoot because i always think im going to miss the shot and stuff.

i need help cuz im always afraid to shot cuz i think im going to miss and embarrass my self.. ANY tips

Don't worry if you miss get back on D
also
Get a Basketball rim a practice outside and build up you confidence or just sit out a couple a games in gym and practice you shout.
