Need some sort of financial advice?

I'm twenty-three and dropped out of high school. As far as income goes, I'm doing okay. However, my father is terminally ill and it could be up to me to support myself and my mother and I'm barely making enough to pay off my car payments. I'm looking for some sort of advice on career options and how to manage my money (and possibly sell my car?) Is there anyone out there that I can talk to about all this? Would a financial advisor at a bank be the best bet?
