passage, see below!? I need to point out some techniques used by Austen, and even strange actions of characters, use of free indirect etc. for the passage starting page 88, "She could have said more on the subject..." to page 89, "This is breaking a head and giving a plaister truly!"
PLEASE help, I'm really struggling, can't sink my teeth into this, just one or two points please!
Free indirect Style is a style of third person narration which combines some of the characteristics of third-person report with first-person direct speech.
