Need some serious help. Should I stay where I am, switch to sprints, or quit track?

This is my first year doing track as a sophomore and I'm kinda struggling. I'm only doing it to stay in shape for soccer and be healthy I hate being one of the last to finish. I'm in pretty bad shape and I'm terrible with dealing with pain. Right now I'm doing middle distance(400m and 800m) but I think that's too much. I'm in the middle when we do 100 and 200m but by the time we run the 600 I'm towards the back. Doing two laps like kills me and I'm one of the last few, which is pathetic. I'm thinking about switching to sprints but I don't know if I'm fast enough. Also, I don't want to quit but I'm starting to think I'm not cut out for track.
