need some pointers on how to answer duc haters.

Just have fun riding your bike and ignore them. They are just immature. The enjoyment is in the character of the bike and the experience of the ride, enjoy it.

Around here its the opposite cause Ducs are so rare...
Wherever i go and stop for a drinky winky or food or whatever i should always have this >Police line do not cross< tape with me and put it around the bike...around here the poeple are really crazy about big bikes and of course the most are Japs so they get really excited about an exotic bike like a Ducati...so i had to do something to protect my red lady from being touched all over
 
say nothing to them or just laugh it off then slip them an email with a link to ducati.com then stand back and welcome them to your ducati club after they traded in their current bike for a new ducati.
 
I kinda feel that people that bash other bikes are also not true riders and only in it for posing. I mean, I really like something about all bikes and don't ever talk shit about friends bikes. I still think there is a level of jealousy behind their words; not to mention mis-guided facts.

If all else fails, kick them in the balls
