I play trumpet and have an Arbans book, the new pink one, if that helps. And was just wondering if there is any exercises in there that are pedal tones, or good for improving tone. Also, could someone please tell me, in short, exactly what a pedal tone is. My band instructor didn't do a good job of explaining.
