Need some info on htc tp2?

this happened a while ago, i got a message one night on my htc tp2. and for some reason the message notifcation has not gone away yet, i reset the device and everything but its still telling me that there is 1 message which there isn't i deleted all my messages but yet it tells me there still there. anyone know what the issue mght be please let me know thanks
